is named after the second landing in Australia of Captain James Cook on 24th May, 1770.
1770 is a peaceful, laid back town with shopping facilities 7KM away at Agnes Water. Basic groceries are available in the camp kiosk.
Location
Located in a secluded bay inside Round Hill Headland the Campground features a white sandy beach and areas to safely moor your boat.
1770 is renowned for its Reef Fishing.
Activities
1770 is home base for the Larc day trips to Bustard head and port for Lady Musgrave Island cruises. Other activities include Reef and Estuary fishing, Mud crabbing, Golf, Paddle boarding, Surfing and bushwalking
