Terms & Conditions

1770 Camping Ground wishes to extend a welcome to you and hope that your stay will be enjoyable. We ask that you accept the following guidelines to ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of all those visiting the Camping Grounds:

- Office Hours are 7.30am to 5.30pm, 7 days a week.
- Check-in from 12pm.
- Check-out is strictly 10am.
- For after hours assistance contact the Caretaker in the house opposite reception.

Your obligations as a guest include the following:

- Speed Limit: Shared zone, 5kph.
- Drawbars: All caravan and camper trailer drawbars must face the nearest road.
- Sullage: No washing machines permitted. Grey water must not flow onto the ground. It is strictly against health regulations.
- Trenching: Trenching arround tents and annexes is not permitted. Fine applies.
- Noise/Beahviour: To ensure the enjoyment of all our guests, we have a strict noise policy. All noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times. We enforce a strict 9PM music and excessive noise curfew. Drunken, anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Rubbish: We urge all campers to be mindful of the pristine environment at 1770 and to show respect for the facility and others by observing all rules, including keeping campsites clean of rubbish at all times and disposing of all rubbish correctly before leaving the site.
- Toilets & Showers: Children under 8 must be accompanied to the toilet and shower by an adult.
- Bicycles & Scooters: Are only permitted to be ridden in the park between the hours and 7.30am and dusk, at 5kph.
- Campfires: Fires are permitted on all beachfront sites, with other sites at management discretion, in an approved receptacle. Chainsaws are strictly prohibited.

Cancellation Policy:
- ​All cancellations will be less the firsts nights fee
- Refunds are not available for any unused part of your booking.
- In the instance of a "no show", refunds will not be issued.
- Failure to notify of cancellation or if arrival has not occurred by 10am the day after your scheduled arrival date, then your booking may be cancelled by management without a refund to you.
- Refunds will be issued for all bookings cancelled more than 14 days prior to your arrival, less the firsts nights fee. Inclement weather is not a valid reason for a refund.
- Refunds will not be issued, for all bookings cancelled less than 14 days prior to your arrival, unless the accommodation has been resold. In this case the refund issued will be less the first nights fee.
- At management discretion a deposit may be held in trust for 12 months for a future booking.
